Shirin and Chie’s diverse backgrounds foster a culturally aware, inclusive environment where all people and bodies are celebrated—and we aimed to reflect that ethos in the brand. As fellow zillennials, they were eager for a brand identity full of personality—one that avoided being overly minimal or too youthful. The final color palette is bright, energetic, and fun, while allowing their stunning photography to take center stage. We designed an elegant, clean logo featuring a woven motif to symbolize their partnership and connection to the creative community. To balance the bold palette, we paired it with a minimal, legible typeface, arranged in unique layouts to add visual interest without sacrificing clarity.
Eani is a woman-led visual creative agency delivering fresh editorial and product photography from their home base in Austin, Texas. When co-founders Shirin and Chie came to us, they had cycled through a few self-made brand identities. After realizing those directions weren’t quite hitting the mark, they reached out for a fun, unexpected, and luxurious brand identity—backed by a solid brand strategy. Before diving into design, we led a deep strategy session to uncover Eani’s “special sauce.” We leaned into their warm, engaging on-set presence and emphasized their ability to curate the perfect team for each project through their extensive creative network. The resulting voice and tone are confident, professional, and empowering. Together, we also outlined a clear services structure to help potential clients understand their offerings at a glance.
