Together, we developed a direction that reflects that layered process. The art direction centers on collage—a mix of the glossy final product and the messy, creative middle. Moodboards, hand-drawn sketches, swatches, floorplans, logo concepts, photography, menus, materials—all in conversation. It’s about showing not just what Roy creates, but how they get there: collaboratively, intentionally, with equal parts creativity and strategy.
The refreshed Roy Hospitality identity isn’t a reinvention—it’s a refinement. Roy is a hospitality design studio specializing in restaurant branding and interior design, with roots in both San Francisco and New York City. Their portfolio spans everything from fast casual favorites to Michelin-starred destinations. The Roy team needed was a visual identity that matched the depth and duality of their work: branding and interiors, strategy and style, big-picture thinking and meticulous detail.
